It also holds an option to acquire a 75% interest in the Nkoko and Kagadi uranium properties, which contain approximately 820 square kilometers located in Kibaale district, Uganda. The company was founded in 2003. It was formerly known as Brownsville Company and changed its name to Uranium Hunter Corporation in 2007. Uranium Hunter Corporation is based in Toronto, Canada.
