Building Materials Holding Corporation was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Boise, Idaho. On June 16, 2009, Building Materials Holding Corp., along with its affiliates, filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Delaware.
History:  INCORPORATED in Delaware Apr. 14, 1997, to merge, on Sept. 23, 1997, a wholly owned subsidiary into BMC West Corp., a Delaware company incorporated Nov. 10, 1987.
