Decimalization For Aces Pass-Thru Rescheduled(Head Trader Alert#2000-24)
The release that will enable Aces Pass-ThruSM to accept orders with decimal pricing via Computer-to-Computer Interface (CTCI) for OTC Bulletin Board® (OTCBB) issues, originally scheduled for Monday, March 27, 2000, has been rescheduled. The new implementation date is Monday, April 10, 2000.
A production test is scheduled for Saturday, April 1, 2000. If your firm wishes to participate in this test, please call the Nasdaq® Testing Center at (800) 288-3783, no later than 12:00 p.m., Eastern Time (ET), Thursday, March 30, 2000.
Weekday testing began on February 22, 2000, and is still available. To schedule a weekday test time, please call the API/CTCI Testing Center at (800) 288-3783, and leave a message. An analyst will return your call promptly to schedule a testing date and time.
- Leave a message with your firm name, contact name, and telephone, server (SDP), and fax numbers.
- Indicate if you have CTCI lines so we can activate them for the test.
- If you experience any problems during the test, call Nasdaq Trading Operations at
Aces Pass-Thru order-entry firms that route orders via CTCI should review the format of their Aces Pass-Thru Cancel/Replace messages. As outlined in the CTCI specification, Section 8.2.2, Line 7 of the Cancel/Replace message includes one required line delimiter. Please review your messages to insure that they comply with this specification.
